The system of seismic warning (S. A. S. has been achieved in the year 1999. The investment was made possible because funds coming from the company "Foton 2000 Self" Ltd.
The system of seismic warning was designed and implemented to transmit radio concern alarm system through seismic products for earthquakes in Vrancea area with 25-30 seconds before reaching wave "S" (destructive) in Bucharest. (patent OSIM 121355/30.5.2001).
In March 14 2002, under O. G. 26/2000, the Romanian Institute of seismology applied (I. R. S. A.) was set up private association (private) that the main activity in general and study with the implementation of these studies for Vrancea area.
The center of seismic warning of the I. R. S. A. has warned so far all the magnitude or greater than the 4.8 on the Richter scale, products and measured in Vrancea area-and with no false alarm.
